Thinking If You Should Buy an Electric Scooter? Here Are Some Pros

In a world that's grappling with the depletion of fossil fuels, buying an electric scooter might be a great idea. There are a bunch of options available now, and these don't have to cost a fortune. Electric scooters use a battery, which must be charged, and electricity, as we all know, can come from renewable and sustainable sources, as well. Below are some quick advantages, or pros, at a glance.

1. Great on the go. If you are looking for an alternative means of transport, this is by far the best choice. An affordable electric vehicle can be easy on the pocket, and while these are not fast as one of the regular cars, these are great for smaller distances. For example, if you are moving to the grocery shop, you wouldn't want to call a cab for such a short distance.

2. Tired of licensing requirements for a new car or motorcycle? This isn't the case with the electric ones, which are slow and low on speed. These are also great for old and young alike. You can buy one for your mom, get one for the kid or can even ride one to all the nearest town. An electric scooter is just ideal to be included for any home.

3. Safety and portability are great features to have. If your electric scooter ran into trouble in the middle of the road, you don't need a loader to take it to the repair shop. Most of the better designs are actually very light, and therefore, you can easily take it along. Safety features have been considered by some of the better brands, and you may even get a light, or even other proprietary elements.

4. No more pollution. Electric scooters use a motor that runs on the chain, and therefore, there is no noise or smoke pollution. This can be a big plus if people in the cities and crowded places start using these, because we can simply do away with some of the honking. As mentioned at the start, you are using a product that doesn't rely on fossil fuels, and by now, we all know that it is important to reduce dependency on these fuels.

5. Budget friendly. Okay, electric scooters are cheap, and what's even better is the fact that you don't have to spend a lot on maintenance. Just choose a brand or manufacturer you can rely on, and you should be good. Repair needs are not frequent, and you don't have to spend a lot on the parts either, should there be a requirement for replacement.

All in all, electric scooters are ideal for most people. If you are trying to buy something expensive, go for an electronic cargo vehicle, which is short, compact and can be used in a number of ways. Also, take your time to evaluate the features and make sure that the product is a known one. After all, you wouldn't want to replace it soon.

Although it is seen more and more frequently, the electric scooter is not recognized today in the Highway Code and this will mean that it can only be used in private or urban contexts, as in shopping centers or inside of parks.

In any case, it is important to buy electric hoverboards that ensure the necessary safety for the user who uses it.

As happens now on any electronic instrument, even the electric scooter undergoes not a few imitations (especially of Chinese mold) and this can lead to the purchase of an instrument that presents a price of lower levels, but that could also go to the expense of safety and quality of manufacture.

Therefore, regardless of where a hoverboard is used, it is important that this is an approved instrument, that is, the UL2272 certification valid for Europe and the United States.

Even if you prefer to buy a used scooter, always check that it is approved and that it is not of Chinese brands.

But how do you use a hoverboard? Simple, it's all about balance! Just lean forward to proceed and retract backwards to stop the instrument.

To be able to maneuver instead, just move the weight on the right foot or on the left depending on the desired direction.

This is possible thanks to the weight sensors positioned below the footrest. In case of difficulty then, on the web there are numerous videos and tutorials that can be very helpful.

Although the electric scooter is very popular with children, it is recommended for users aged 12 and over and under adult supervision.

How a mono electric skate is structured.

The description of a hoverboard focuses on two fundamental aspects: structure and technology. The scooter is composed of a central platform, on which to rest the feet, and two parallel wheels that can be of different sizes depending on the model.

It is important that the materials of the structure and of the parallel wheels are of good quality: the platform, for example, must have a suitable anti-slip coating and the body must be strong enough to withstand knocks and wear.

Some models of electric scooter have bigger wheels, so they can also be used on non-smooth roads and thus guarantee greater stability.

Regardless of the materials used for the construction, however, a single skid must also be light enough to be able to transport it without particular effort.

Generally the weight of electric hoverboards is around 10/12 Kg and has a speed that is around 10-20 Km per hour.

In addition to materials, other relevant aspects are batteries and engines. Generally an electric scooter consists of about 20 batteries, which are recharged in varying times (from an hour and a half to 3 hours) and that give an autonomy of 10/20 Km.

Even the autonomy can vary depending on the type of road you travel and the user's weight. In fact, the maximum weight that an electric scooter can bear is for some 100 Kg, for another 120 Kg.

As for the engine, there are basically two that guarantee from 500W to 1000W of power. Of course, a scooter with 1000W engine is presented as a more professional tool and with a higher speed, less indicated then for do-it-yourself use.

Further features of the best electric scooter.

The technology is always evolving and the electric scooters, in addition to being a good invention in itself, are always enriched with new features.

For example, there are models that have some nice LED lights integrated, which intervene to illuminate the road in the evening but also to give a striking appearance to the walk.

Other additional elements can be the Bluetooth function, the speaker for listening to music and a comfortable backpack to make the transport lighter.

5 Factors That May/Will Influence the Decision Making of the Royal Enfield and Jawa Buyers

A lot has been written about the comparison of technical specifications and design of both Royal Enfield and Jawa, but in this article I am going to discuss the points that are likely to influence the decision of buyers when they choose between the two legendary motorcycles.

Competing with RE is not going to be easy for Jawa as the legendary bikemaker is a force to reckon with in the Indian motorcycling scene. It takes a lot more than just a good price, a superior engine specs and a classic design to beat Royal Enfield in its own backyard.

Iconic and legendary, RE is much more than the technical specifications it offers. As an ardent Royal Enfield rider I can say this with conviction that the motorcycle has a very special place in hearts and souls of its riders and all those who aspire to own it someday. It's a feeling that cannot be expressed in words, it can only be felt when you ride it and feel the thump of its exhaust. To sum it up, "Royal Enfield is a feeling". I am sure that similar is the case with the ardent fans of legendary Jawa.

Jawa is not only back but back with a bang and they mean business. The launch has stirred a debate with respect to its inevitable comparison with another legend that has been ruling the Indian roads like a boss, the iconic RE. Jawa always knew that they are going to compete with Royal Enfield directly, so they have come prepared and launched, not one, not two but three motorcycles, the Jawa, the Forty Two and the Perak (Perak will be available around mid-2019) to take on the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Standard 350, and Thunderbird 350 with premium features and excellent engine specs. Perak being a Bobber has no direct competition in the market in its price and category. Perak surely is a winner at Jawa's hand when it will be available next year provided Royal Enfield doesn't launch a Bobber in coming couple of months before Perak becomes available... You never know.

Below are some of the factors that may influence the decision of the buyers who looking to own one of these legends.

Royal Enfield has enjoyed a cult following in India for generations. BULLET has always been considered a symbol of machismo right from grandfather to grandsons who covet the legend and ride one with pride. On the other hand Jawa missed a whole generation of bikers who never rode it and have almost forgotten that this legend once graced Indian roads and was a worthy competitor of Royal Enfield. During all those years that Jawa lost, RE built a loyal customer base which gives it a big edge over Jawa. During all those years Royal Enfield expanded its reach, range of models and upgraded its engines, came up with merchandise and modernized its dealerships. It will take a lot of time and effort for Jawa to fill that gap.
RE has a very wide spread network (More than 800 dealerships) that will not be easy for Jawa to match right away though they have started with 105 dealerships, out of which 64 will be operational by the first week of December 2018 as per the Classic Legends.
Repair and availability of spare parts of Royal Enfield is not a big deal these days as in last 2 decades the company has developed a dealer networks which is spread to the farthest corners of India and can only be matched perhaps by carmaker Maruti Suzuki. Due to this, they manage to sell huge numbers of motorcycles year after year. So much so that when other motorcycle manufactures begin to feel the heat of low market sentiments RE motorcycles sell with a waiting period of 3-4 months.
There is no doubt that Jawa is technically superior to Royal Enfield, and I give full credit to Jawa here, which beats RE engine hands down with its Engine Specifications. With its 293 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine that develops 27 Bhp and 28 Nm, which clearly gives then an edge over Royal Enfield 350 Classic that sports a 346 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor that makes 19.8 Bhp and 28 Nm. Jawa engine despite being lower capacity, produces more power and its torque is same as produced by Royal Enfield 350 cc engine. Jawa's engine is Dual Overhead Camshaft (DOHC) with liquid-cooling and a higher compression ratio of 11:1, as compared to the RE's 8.5:1. Both motorcycle come with an ABS. Jawa sports a single-channel ABS as standard, while the Royal Enfield offers dual-channel ABS. Both the motorcycles sport classic designs but Jawa has used some modern cues in their Forty Two Model to give it an urban-retro look.
Royal Enfield has a definite price advantage as its lower end range of Bullet Twinspark 350 starts as low as 1.20 Lac and even the Classic 350 range including Gunmetal Grey and Classic Signals 350 with ABS is very competitively priced at 1.55 lacs and comes in the same price bracket as Jawa and Forty Two.
I think it's a wait and watch situation because it's definitely going to be a battle of giants that is going to benefit riders. It's good for the bikers that Royal Enfield's supremacy is challenged as this will result in enhancements in its quality and cut throat pricing which may follow next year.

3 Instinctive Thoughts You Must Stop to Discover Your True Potential

When you want to start a new project or begin work on a new goal, perhaps for something related to your job, is your first natural reaction to think you are capable and ready to get started? As an educator and career coach, I've found the natural reaction for most people is one of questions and doubt. The natural instinctive thoughts are related to fear and questions about capability and capacity. When these instinctive thoughts begin, it sets the stage for feeling a sense of being limited and at risk for failure. Rather than working from a sense of empowerment and working towards the true potential a person has to learn, when new tasks prompt developmental growth, a person remains stuck in doubt. Yet if you can be on alert for instinctual patterns of self-doubt, it is possible to create a new set of empowering thoughts.

The Origins of Instinctive Negative Thoughts

https://thriveglobal.com/?p=971626&preview=true
https://thriveglobal.com/?p=971628&preview=true

Why is it the default setting for many of us, when it comes to questioning our ability to complete a task, is to think we cannot or may not be able to accomplish it? Why doesn't the default thought process begin with a resounding yes? Perhaps it has something to do with being told to be cautious as a child, or being told only those who look and act in a certain manner are able to accomplish any task. It is not always easy to pinpoint the cause and yet it exists, a lack of self-trust in an ability to even begin a new project, task, goal, or something similar, without having some form of doubt about being able to complete it.

Consider the last time someone in your workplace asked you to take on a new role or job duty. Did you automatically feel capable of performing what was required? Or if you were asked now, would you feel capable of seeking new work or additional responsibilities based upon your capabilities? The answers to those questions will help you understand what your instinctive thought patterns are and what you need to address. You may not know exactly how those thoughts began, or even how those thoughts have become sustained, but now you will know of their existence. What most people use as the basis for what they believe about themselves, as to what they are or are not capable of at any point in time, are the negative events which have occurred in their career.

What happens is those persistent or instinctive thoughts eventually become an engrained belief. Then any negative occurrences become evidence to support those thoughts about an inability to do something, rather than using it as feedback. Every person is capable of learning new skills and new responsibilities but it depends upon your thought patterns as to whether or not you will follow through with it. If you will believe in your own capacity to learn, and develop it as a practiced habit of thought, you will create it as a belief.

Instinctive Negative Thought Patterns

For those who have not practiced a pattern of thinking positive thoughts about their ability to perform well, they are going to find themselves stuck with recurring negative thought patterns. Every time there is a new challenge, the default thought is negative. If there is praise from anyone, be it a supervisor or co-worker, there might be temporary happiness but in the long-term, negative thoughts will always surface. All it will take is for someone to disagree with them or challenge them in some manner. Developing positive thought patterns requires time and practice, and more importantly, a strong sense of self-trust and self-belief.

3 Instinctive Thoughts You Must Stop to Discover Your True Potential

Instinctive Thought #1: I Can't.

How many times has this come to mind? To change this thought, answer the question. Face it head-on. Why can't you? What that does is to take the fear out of the question and give you back your control. You learn that even in the worst case, there are many ways you are able to find a way to turn this into an "I Can" situation.

The more you practice this technique, the more likely the instinctive thought will eventually become, "I Can", as you know those words mean "I Can Be Prepared", "I Can Learn", and so many other similar statements. As you try it and find out it is true, you will repeat it enough times for it to become a belief.

Instinctive Thought #2: I'm Afraid.

This is another powerful statement which can derail a person's progress and limit their potential. I recommend the same approach as the first negative thought, face it head-on. Why are you afraid? What are you afraid of now? Use fear as a means of becoming prepared, not as a statement to make you want to run away from whatever task you have in mind. Yes, you may be uncertain about the outcome of a project or task. But what you can rely upon is yourself and your capabilities.

You can use any sense of uncertainty to ask questions, obtain information, and allow yourself to become fully prepared. You can even imagine the worst-case scenario, if this helps, to help remove any sense of fear of the unknown and become prepared for the ultimate outcome. The point is to become proactive and face fear in a positive manner to change the instinctive thought into a positive perspective.

Instinctive Thought #3: I Don't Know How.

Many people believe they cannot admit they do not know how to perform a task or some aspect of their job. Perhaps they are supposed to be the subject matter expert, the skilled expert, or they were hired because of their knowledge. This is a common myth as I have yet to find an employer that expects an employee to know all processes and procedures, and hold all knowledge, or every aspect of their job. It is better to ask someone for help or assistance than to ignore it and hope it is never discovered.

If there is something you need to learn, this is an opportunity to grow in your position or profession. The point is to believe in yourself and face instinctive thoughts from a positive perspective. Just because you do not know something does not mean you are going to get fired (I understand there may be exceptions), it means you should view this as the learning opportunity it provides. This will help you to develop a positive instinctive thought process.

Discover Strategies to Create Positive Thoughts

Even with the development of positive thoughts, you may have moments when you experience uncertainty and fear. The best strategy is to address it as soon as you experience it. The feeling you have is an indicator of what you are experiencing and if you allow it to continue it may turn into frustration, which can show up in your job performance.

Tell Yourself, It's Okay to Feel:

For those of us who practice the development of positive thoughts, there are going to be times when fear or negative thoughts come up. If that occurs, what do you do about it? It's as simple as telling yourself not to worry as it is okay to feel. You are a human being and it is not possible to eliminate negative thoughts completely. Even the seemingly happiest person you know can be experiencing moments of pain and fear. It isn't a matter of what is felt, it is a matter of how you respond to those feelings. When you feel any form of negative thought, process it in the same manner as described above by facing it head-on. Don't deny it or hide it. Acknowledge it and move on. There are many things in life you cannot control, from people to circumstances, and you are going to experience reactions at times which are less than perfect. When you do, acknowledge those reactions and get back to thinking positively about yourself.

Be Inquisitive:

Developing positive thoughts is about a practice of eliminating naturally negative thoughts. To do this, using the strategies provided above, you will find it helpful to become inquisitive. If you experience fear, you question why you are feeling this way and what it is you are afraid of either now or in the future. If you believe you cannot start or complete a task, ask yourself questions to probe further. In other words, never accept those negative thoughts as the final answer. The use of questions is the best way to explore, probe, and disarm negative thoughts.

Develop New Habits of Thought:

Don't wait for negative thoughts to arise. It is time to develop positive thoughts about yourself now. For example, decide today that if you are given a new task or project, you will be ready for it. You will be ready for it because you will know to ask questions, you will determine what you know and what you need to learn, and you are aware of your capacity to learn and grow. You feel confident in your ability to take on new assignments and look forward to watching yourself prosper. As you continue to think these thoughts, watch what happens. These thoughts will become your personal beliefs. These beliefs will carry over from your career into your personal life as well. You will transform all aspects of your life simply through the power of positive instinctive thoughts. Instead of being fearful or doubtful about taking on new goals or projects, because you might fail, you will now see yourself as someone with potential, capacity, and an ability to succeed.

Move Into the New Year With a Positive Mindset

How has this year been for you? If it's been a tough year now can be a good time to reflect on what you've been through, what you've hopefully learned as a consequence, and then start to feel ready to focus on ways to move forward with a positive mindset.

You may be feeling a little cautious, cynical or hurt but, perhaps with the benefit of some support, you're now able to appreciate how much you've gained from the experiences, who your friends are, who you can trust and how strong and resilient you've become. You're a survivor and you've grown through being challenged in unexpected ways. Now you're ready to move into the new year with a positive outlook.

- Continue to let people help. Advice, therapy, or even occasionally bending the ears of friends or family can be an important contributor to a positive mindset. Don't let yourself be coerced though, and before making decisions be sure to step back and double-check that they're right for you. Allow your team to be part of your support network.

- Be receptive to unexpected opportunities. When things don't work out as you'd hoped stand firm and assess potential detours, invitations and requests. Even if something's not quite to your taste and you'd never again repeat the experience, give yourself credit for keeping moving and being positive.

- Be prepared to consider other doors that often open after setbacks and failure. Few things are a total loss! Think flexibly about any new suggestions or directions that may present themselves, and start the new year with energy and optimism.

- Saying 'yes' to new things doesn't have to entail upheaval or great expense and inconvenience. Something as 'simple' as trying a different class at the gym, ordering something new for lunch or inviting someone out for a coffee can bring positive shifts in your mindset.

- Recall how proud you are when you do something you've previously avoided, perhaps made a difficult phone call or done a job that's typically unnerved you. Be sure to give yourself credit when you step outside your comfort zone and, whatever the eventual outcome, feel good about having a more receptive approach.

Risk takes courage and at stressful times your comfort zone may be an important place to remain for a while, but staying there too long can cause frustration and resentment. Treat tough times as stepping-stones on your journey and appreciate that even small steps have the potential to take you somewhere new, exciting and result in bringing a sense of pride and positivity into your life. Have a happy new year!
